Where is AKOT’s Bellingen Office?

How do I make an appointment?

  • Contact us to provide your name, contact number, your child’s name and some information about how you feel we may be able to assist your child.
  • One of our team will contact you to find out more details including your child’s age and funding arrangements. We ask about funding so we know which services your child may be able to access. For eg, NDIS funds Allied Health Assistants but Medicare does not.
  • Our availability for different programs does vary. You will be advised on an approximate waiting time and some paperwork may commence at that time.
  • You will then be contacted when there is an appointment available.

Can AKOT diagnose my child?

  • Occupational Therapists can play a valuable role in the process of diagnosis for children by providing functional assessment and skilled insight particularly regarding play, sensory processing and motor skills.
